As a person who had gone through layers of deliverance — having endured years of torments from demonic powers, I come to discover the beauty of deliverance as a critical area of ministry in every believer’s life. Seeing deliverance for what it is not, has damaged the love, passion, and focus on the ministry of deliverance everywhere. What we don’t understand is that ministration is not necessarily a matter of someone being called into the ministry offices: there are collective areas of assignments that need no special calling of God. It is a general duty and everyone falls under the obligation to take part. 

The compromise of deliverance today has taken away the trust, integrity, and credibility of the ministry of deliverance. People distance themselves instead of embracing or seeking after deliverance. They fail to realize the urgent need for deliverance from evil spirits or the powers of darkness. These powers use their works to afflict and endanger people’s lives and destinies. You cannot live among the snakes, scorpions, and other malicious elements without real protection. You cannot live among wolves and other dangerous animals without arming yourself. It is better to be over-prepared than to be less prepared. Vulnerability is an open invitation for exploitation and victimization. 

Life cannot flourish without proper guidelines. Adventure is not the key to calculated success because levels of success take measures of preparation. Evil spirits are parasites and anti-body, and getting caught in their webs will turn the trajectory of your life into a rat race. People everywhere are crying out for help and the Christians cannot remain silent any longer. 

I believe that because of a lack of adequate knowledge in the areas of deliverance, people have lost hope in pursuing and engaging in the practice of casting out evil spirits. However, I must remind us that the words of the LORD Jesus Christ have not changed and neither has the original intent been removed. The end times will present the Church with an exceptional workload in the areas of deliverance. Many people will deal with strange phenomena that only the Church is supposed to have the secret to address the problems. 

We must begin to retrace our footsteps back to the ministries of the earlier Apostles and other Christians who practiced casting out evil spirits. There can be no spiritual Church growth and maturity without the ministry of deliverance. What we have seen over the years in the body of Christ is a carnal Church system that is highly demonic. The majority of the leaders are bound under heavy chains — in captivity and bondage. The congregations have become holding places and the people of God have missed great opportunities. Mistaking fun for the battle is exposing yourself to death. Often, people take away their own lives when panic sets in. 

The regression in this area of ministry is deeply lamentable because of the numbers of people under bondage and the volumes of cases around the world. Although other areas of ministries are important, we must not misplace the order of priorities. Growth and maturity take calculated strategic planning and careful implementation is fulfilling the roadmap to seeing the end result. We have come to the threshold where real change and transformation are imminent or the devastation of the end-times demonic aggression against the human race will be more than the Earth has ever seen. 

I am calling for an awakening — to press the believers all over the world to arise in the name of the LORD. The devils must not feel safe and secure around us. They must not show any sign of courage and defiance before Christian soldiers because they know they will be brutally dealt with. May this material serve as your training course — to prepare and equip you in the area of deliverance — to cast out evil.
